Buffalo grass, Blue gramma and Drylands fescue can all be utilzed to give the 'lawn appearance' without the consumptive water demands of Kentucky Bluegrass.
Here are some examples of each utilized in some of our recent landscapes.
- Buffalo grass requires no mowing and only one quarter the water needs.
- Blue gramma grass is most tolerant of a variety of soil conditions and
doesn't require mowing at all. - And finally, Drylands fescue requires about half the water and
half the mowing requirements.
